LabPlast develops different projects of applied research for industries into its main research lines:

Blends thermosets/thermoplastics

  • Epoxy systems modified with thermoplastics: Cure kinetics, morphologies, mechanical properties and fractures.

Hybrid to polymer systems

  • Synthesis and characterization of epoxy systems modified with polyhedral oligomeric silsesquioxanes (POSS).

Polymer formulations based on polyolefins

  • Thermal Effect of processing on the and mechanical properties of the biaxially oriented polypropylene films.
  • Processing of to polymer systems based on polypropylene (PP).
  • Properties film barrier of nourishing use.
  • Development of new composites.
  • Studies of the additive migration used in formulations of polyolefin’s.
